Introducing the PCO Vendor Collective (and Why We're In It)

Finding a vendor who actually understands the pest control business is harder than it should be. Most agencies, software companies, and service providers work across a dozen industries and treat pest control like any other vertical. The result is generic advice, off-the-shelf tools, and a lot of wasted time explaining your own business back to the people you're paying to help you grow it.

That's the problem the PCO Vendor Collective was built to solve — and it's why we're one of the founding members.

What the Collective Is

The PCO Vendor Collective is a curated group of five vendors, each of us focused on the pest control industry. The members are:

  • Coalmarch Marketing (that's us!) — digital marketing built for pest control companies
  • Applause Technology — review generation and employee scorecards for PCOs
  • A.R.M. Solutions — flat-fee collections built for pest control accounts
  • PCO Bookkeepers & M&A Specialists — bookkeeping, financial strategy, and M&A advisory for PCOs
  • Voice for Pest — phone systems and answering services designed for pest control workflows

We came together because we kept running into the same PCO business owners and hearing the same thing: they wanted a shorter list of people they could actually trust across the parts of the business that matter most.

Why We're Part of It

Coalmarch Marketing has spent more than 20 years working with pest control companies. Over that time, the question we hear most often from operators isn't about SEO or ad spend or website performance. It's some version of: "Do you know anyone good for _______?"

Sometimes it's a phone system. Sometimes it's a collections partner. Sometimes it's someone to help think through an eventual sale. For a long time, our answer was a personal recommendation and a warm intro because the people we knew we could vouch for were in this industry, the same way we are.

The Collective formalizes what a lot of us have been doing informally for years. It gives PCO business owners one trusted network of specialists instead of a scattered rolodex, and it gives every member a clear standard: pest control isn't a side vertical. It's the only one we serve.

What It Means for Pest Control Business Owners

The Collective isn't a marketplace and there's no membership fee to join as a PCO. It's a network. If you connect with any member through the Collective, you get access to an exclusive offer that isn't available going direct — and you get a partner who already understands your industry, your CRM, your customers, and your compliance requirements.

More importantly, you get people who talk to each other. When your marketing agency, your phone system, your collections partner, and your bookkeeper all understand pest control and stay in contact, the friction between them disappears. That's harder to measure than a lead cost or a conversion rate, but PCO owners who've felt it know exactly what it's worth.

What's Next

The Collective is actively working on a few things worth watching:

  • A customer appreciation event at PestWorld
  • Educational content and podcast conversations on the parts of the industry that are hardest to navigate alone
  • Continued collaboration between members on the operational problems PCOs deal with every day

If any of that is useful to you, the best place to start is pcovendorcollective.com. You can see the full member list, current offers, and upcoming events in one place.

We're proud to be part of it — and even more proud of the company we're in.
