Meet Alex Booth

Based out of central Virginia, Alex brings over 6 years of sales and business experience to Coalmarch. Starting in 2019, Alex has developed a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Digital Marketing and the challenges that pest and lawn businesses are facing.

Prioritizing customer relationships, Alex is always looking to provide unique insights and advice to help business owners analyze their marketing strategy and successfully grow their businesses. 

Before joining Coalmarch, Alex gained valuable experience working for the family business in a commercial masonry company, where he developed a strong understanding of hard work, business operations and client relations. Alex's combined experience in both the trades and digital marketing uniquely positions him to understand and address the challenges faced by businesses in the pest control and lawn care industries. 

When Alex isn’t at work, you can find him spending time with his wife and three children, always taking advantage of the outdoors. If it's not family time, it's game time. Alex is always looking for the next sport to play, whether it's golf. basketball or even ping pong. 

Q&A with Alex
What part of your job do you enjoy most?

Building long-lasting relationships and seeing success happen in real time. I’ve had the chance to work closely with so many amazing people in the pest and lawn industries, and those partnerships turned into friendships. Watching a small business owner go from nervous about the future to confidently growing, hiring, and leading is incredibly rewarding. I get a front-row seat to their wins — big and small — and I love celebrating those moments with them. The friendships and success stories that come from this work are what keep me excited to show up every day.

What's one piece of marketing advice for business owners?

Track everything. It may sound simple, but if you're spending money on marketing for your business you should know where every dollar is going and how it's performing. Detailed tracking and attribution can get complicated, but as long as you know which channels you're investing in, what's working, and what you're getting in return, that's a good start.

If you could spend a day with any celebrity, who would it be?

Without a doubt, Adam Sandler. It would be a day filled with pick up basketball, quotes from his classics like Billy Madison, and a lot of laughter.
